Blog Post 8- Script, Storyboard, Shot List:

The first draft of our script:
Storyboard:

Here is our storyboard's first draft, I drew some of the scenes, and one of my partners drew the other scenes, but it is still not very detailed, so for our next step before the actual filming I have to redraw some of the scenes and start writing the shot list.

The intention of our film opening:

We aim to raise awareness among parents in society regarding the importance of being concerned about mental illness among teenagers. We want to convey that, mental illness isn’t entirely negative, it can sometimes help individuals cope with difficult events.

Use the narrative to address the stigma surrounding mental illness, particularly among teenagers. Show how societal attitudes and misconceptions can impact individuals' willingness to seek help and how this stigma can be perpetuated within families and communities.

Use the relationship between Jules and her parents to emphasize the importance of parental awareness and support for teenagers' mental health. Show how parents' attitudes and actions can have a significant impact on their children's well-being and ability to seek help when needed.

Foster empathy and understanding among viewers by allowing them to see the world through Jules' eyes and experience her struggles firsthand. By creating a sense of connection and empathy, the film can help break down barriers and encourage open conversations about mental health.

Shot List is in the Word document:
